We had fantastic weather and a lot of shenanigans. But somehow I must have made an impression on the judge, Pat Fox. Vickie created a special award after she lost her heart dog, Brother Vincent. It is selected by the judge for the team that best represents in that judges opinion the Spirit of Agility. Well we must have done something right in his eyes because he chose Me! I have endured a fair share of ribbing over this, as I am not exactly "Miss Sunshine". But I am honored beyond belief. I think Pat's criteria was not so much my sunny personality but how I treat my dogs I guess. No matter what, even with the teasing I must endure it is pretty damned cool. :)
To end the weekend with our last run, Mojo nailed Tunnelers and earned his 7,500 Lifetime Point award... I can't believe we've had 750 Qualifying runs... WOW. With his Q rate you have to at least double that for our total times stepping to the line together. It's STILL not enough. I love to dance with my boy. On to 10,000!!
